Welcome,
I’m a wildlife conservationist and science communicator with a passion for helping people understand the complex issues our wildlife face today.
With a background in veterinary science and digital marketing, my goal is to use this platform to help make conservation research feel more accessible and understood. As David Attenborough once said:

No one will protect what they don't care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced.
Areas of Interest
The areas of conservation I am particularly passionate about reflect my background in veterinary science and animal behaviour. I'm keen to shed light on some of these slightly more niche areas of research, showing people just how vast and diverse the world of conservation really is.
The One Health framework emphasises that we cannot treat species in isolation. I explore how disease spill-over and environmental degradation affect us all.

One Health
Beyond broad population data, every rescued animal has an individual story, that we can make a real tangible difference to.

Wildlife Rehabilitation
Canine detection leverages the extraordinary power of dogs' noses to track elusive species, locate invasive plants, and monitor wildlife populations with minimal disruption to the environment.

You Belong Here

While animals and wildlife has always been a passion, conservation research has often seemed intimidating and just out of reach - even coming from a veterinary science background. Without much research experience during my degree, the world of conservation science felt daunting and overwhelming. The technical jargon, lengthy papers and the idea you need to be an expert before you belong can easily put people off from learning more when it simply isn't true.
But conservation is about more than just knowledge and academia. It’s about coming together to protect species, ecosystems and our planet, using our own unique skills to create meaningful change.
I hope this platform can help break scientific research down into something that feels less intimidating and more accessible, particularly for those who may feel like they don’t belong in this world.
I’m here to tell you that you do. We all do.
I’ll also be sharing my own journey into conservation, things I've learnt along the way, the challenges and the experiences that have shaped my path and hopefully of inspiring the next generation of conservationists on their own wild journey.

Get to Know Me
After graduating with a degree in Veterinary Science I knew I wanted to work with animals and wildlife, I just wasn’t sure in what way yet. Since then, I’ve followed that path through a range of wildlife and conservation internships, supporting both research and hands-on animal care with a particular focus on marine conservation.
Through different conservation experiences, volunteering, and communication work, I’ve seen how powerful it can be when science is communicated clearly. That’s what led me to create this platform, a space where I can explore and break down conservation and One Health research in a way that’s easy to understand.
